![]() ![]() Since approximately 1967, a revival of unprecedented proportion has occurred among the Jewish people of the world. Jews from all countries are discovering for the first time that Yeshua (Jesus) is their long awaited Messiah. In 1967 there were a handful of Messianic Jewish congregations in the world. A mere 35 years later, there are literally hundreds of Messianic congregations around the world. Through the Messianic movement, Our Father has restored Hebraic worship and theology (which uses the Torah of Moses as its foundation), to the body of Messiah. This has caused many within Christianity to see a certain disconnection between their faith and practices and those of Messianic believers. A thorough perusal of the book of Acts clearly shows that until Acts 10, with the conversion of the Gentile Cornelius, the original congregation of Yeshua (Jesus) was composed of ethnically Jewish disciples who worshipped the Elohim (God) of Israel in a fully Hebraic context. After Acts 10, the early congregations were composed of Jewish and non-Jewish disciples who worshipped the Elohim of Israel in a fully Hebraic context. Furthermore, the book of Acts confirms that the early believers in Messiah throughout the world remained closely associated with the synagogue and worshipped as a sect within Judaism. Their lifestyle was firmly rooted in the foundation of the Torah. The book of Acts informs us that there were tens of thousands of Jewish believers in the Messiah (Acts 5:14; 21:20; 22:12) who zealously kept the Torah (Law) commandments of Moses (including Sabbath, dietary laws and Holy Days). The early Jewish and non-Jewish believers met regularly in synagogues (Acts 9:2; 22;19), on the Sabbath (Acts 13:5; 17:1-4), and celebrated the feasts (Acts 2; 18:21; 20:6, 16; 24:11; 27:9). History, as recorded by the early Christian Church Fathers and historians, informs us that eventually, the non-Jewish disciples rejected their Hebraic roots and the Torah. Usually, the Apostle Paul’s statements concerning the Torah (Law) in the epistles of Romans and Galatians are used to imply that he too rejected the Torah (Law) and Judaism. However, by his own testimony he confessed that he fully kept the Torah of Moses (Acts 24:14; 25:8; 28:17). Within the past 10 years many non-Jewish believers, especially within Christianity, have begun to diligently discover their Hebraic roots. Specifically, many non-Jewish believers are beginning to question the traditional views of the Church concerning the Torah. Is it coincidental that while Jews are discovering Yeshua as their Messiah, non-Jews are discovering the “Old Testament” as their Torah? No it’s not. Our Heavenly Father is in the process of restoring all things spoken by His prophets (Acts 3:19-21). He is re-building the Tabernacle of David from a Jewish and non-Jewish remnant found throughout the earth. Want to find out more? Welcome to...
This is a complete, in-depth, THEMATIC study of the Parashat HaShavuah (Weekly Torah portions) from a Messianic perspective. These lessons average about 16 pages each. Each lesson is comprised of four sections and the last section shows you how to see the person and work of Messiah Yeshua (in the Torah portion) like never before! In these lessons, I use a Scripture interpretation technique called THEMATIC ANALYSIS to help you understand the Torah. This technique of Scripture interpretation will change how you view the Scriptures. Thematic Analysis of Scripture is Adonai's primary method of Scripture analysis. All levels of Scripture study [P'shat, Remez, Drash/Midrash and Sod] stand on the foundation of Thematic Analysis. Click on the link below for exciting Torah lessons!!!-
